A New Incestuous Romance By Houston Cei
Author Spotlight Interview
1. What do you feel will most likely capture your reader’s attention regarding your book?
Sharon and Raymond are fraternal twins and their closeness developed into a love that goes beyond that of brother and sister. Sharon and the voluptuous and outspoken Grandma Kate are often leaders in the family time that includes plenty of sex in addition to the other activities.
2. What other books would you compare to your own story?
I try my best to be original and do not draw from other books. I start with a basic idea and develop it. As the writing progresses, more ideas seem to flow. Two books that have always been an inspiration to my writing and my life are Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand.
3. What inspired the title of your latest book?
One of the Ten Commandments that God handed down to the Hebrews in the Book of Exodus was to keep the Sabbath holy and this is still practiced today in Jewish tradition; is a day of rest from work and is spent with family. The family in my story takes the concept of the Sabbath a step further to include family sex, and it is a continuation of the first story, thus The Sensual Sabbath Two. In this story, “family time” is the Anderson family’s concept of the Sabbath and it is in no way meant to belittle the Jewish custom which I wholeheartedly respect.
4. Taken as a whole, what moral, social, or political questions does your story discuss?
The moral and social questions raised in the story are: Is it “human nature” for us to want what is taboo? Is wife-swapping emotionally healthy for a relationship? Are there potential hazards of inbreeding? I try to avoid political issues.
5. Artistically or literarily, were there any challenges creating your story’s dynamics?
Yes, the story is a fantasy but every effort was made to make it believable by researching the various subjects in the story line. In my own mind I know how the characters think and feel and I enjoy the challenge of conveying that to the readers.
6. How do you feel the cover highlights your story?
The cover girl represents Sharon who is the twin sitter of Raymond. After emotionally recovering from being sexually assaulted in the first story, she is now the most sensual member of the family and this sensuality is expressed on the cover.
7. Share with us an interesting fact or moment in your book.
Family time for the Anderson’s begins on Saturday morning with breakfast in their underwear, followed by fellowship and games in the living room, with charades being their favorite. Next, card games with music set the stage for dancing in the nude, and then the sexual activity begins.
8. What is your favorite part or scene in your book?
The Anderson’s allow for a family member to have privacy with another outside of the Sabbath. In the chapter “A Detour from Family Time” Sharon and her father Cecil enjoy a private getaway at a beachfront cottage in Capitola, California while in the meantime, her mother Marge is having an exciting sexual encounter with her son, who she simply adores Grandma Kate is there to make it a threesome.
9. What appeals to you most about writing for this genre?
Writing incestuous fiction is exciting and it makes me feel like I am taking erotica to a higher level. Literature, pictures and videos that were considered pornography and sold underground years ago are now called “adult entertainment” and sold in the mainstream, so I raise the question “Will incest someday become commonplace?” This author hopes not, and would like to see it remain the taboo of all taboos, but to be enjoyed by only those who dare.
10. Is there a place readers can leave feedback or comments such as social media sites or email?
My page on Facebook is entitled “Erotica eBooks” and I also have a site on WordPress that can be reached through the blog on the Lot’s Cave site.
Reviews and comments are quite welcome.
